After a mysteriously sunken kiyak last weekend, our second attempt filming the deserted island scene was a success. The powder blue paddle boat made all the difference. Thanks to Josh and all the crew who endured a healthy dose of sunrays: Thanks to John, Jeff Z, Michele, Andrew, and Kevin & Justine for coming out and making the day a success!

Dongu On Hiatus til May 15th

Jules Dongu filming is on hiatus until May 15th. Our director, is currently editing another feature film (someone's gotta foot the bill for all these wigs!). Please stay tuned for updates. We will finish our last days of filming this summer. Thanks for checking in!

Squirrelly Ambushed by Henchmen!

At his darkest hour...in the deepest depths of the Everglades...Squirrelly fights back tears of sorrow & remorse...but at his weakest point he is ambushed by Semen's evil henchmen - stealing his dignity and magical ruby pendant!

Thanks to our incomparable Henchmen: Ed O. & Anesti V. who did an amazing job of bringing the characters to life. With their scenes wrapped, we are looking forward to finishing off just a few more shoots and getting the movie out to the festivals. Squirrelly thanks for taking over 20 blows to the head with the club and still getting your lines right ;) And thanks to our crew: John (Producer/Fluffer) as always & of course Jack our new sound boom operator extraordinaire!

Great Shoot at Semen's House (day 2)

What an action-packed day of shooting at the Mikles' House. From a leopard-print male thong to bottles breaking over our Henchman's head, we had a full day of Dongu filming at its finest! Thanks to all who came out to support including Michele, John J, Keljean (who took the picture you see below) and of course Bubbles (aka CJ) who pulled off one of the more memorable cameos in the film. Thanks to Rick & Angela for letting us make a mess of their beautiful house!

Golf Course Shoot

The sun was setting, the flamingos were chirping, and Stephen Semen couldn't get his balls in the hole! A great short day of filming at Mangrove Bay golf course in St. Pete.

What a fun shoot at Semen's Board Room! Thanks to our friends at Ideal Image for letting us come by and shoot a few scenes at their wonderful location. And thank you to all our amazing "evil senators" aka P.O.O.P. members who brought the vision to life. You guys were bomb-tastic! It couldn't have gone any smoother. The first pic below is a screen cap from the footage. Thanks to Jerome for snapping the others! Oh and I can't forget Justin's wife for picking up the yummy food from Boston Market...uh oh think I'm getting hungry :o
